On June 13 TXT achieved their highest ranking yet on the Billboard 200 with the album “The Chaos Chapter: Freeze.” The album debuted at No. 5 on the Top 200 Albums chart, which showcases the weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States. TXT is now the third K-pop group in history to chart multiple albums on the Billboard 200 within the same year (following BTS and TWICE).
According to MRC Data (formerly Nielsen Music), during the week ending on June 10 TXT’s album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” earned a total of 43,000 equivalent album units. The total score included 39,000 traditional album sales, as well as 4,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units. This leads to a total of 6.42 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week.
This achievement marks the group’s first time entering the top 10 on the Billboard 200, and their fourth entry on the chart overall, following the mini album “The Dream Chapter: Star” (2019), the mini album “minisode: Blue Hour” (2020) and their 2021 Japanese album “Still Dreaming.”
