BTS’s “Butter” becomes their 1st song to top Billboard Hot 100 chart for 3 consecutive weeks

On June 14, Billboard announced that BTS’s song “Butter” had stayed at No. 1 in the Hot 100 chart for the third week in a row.

“Butter,” which was released on May 21, is now BTS’s first song to spend three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100. According to Billboard, “Butter” garnered 15.4 million streams and 138,400 downloads in the United States (in the week ending on June 10), and it also received 24.6 million radio airplay audience impressions (in the week ending on June 13), making it a 10 percent increase from the previous week.

BTS’s hit song “Dynamite” (2020) stayed at No. 1 for a total of three non-consecutive weeks, which means that the group’s most recent summer sonh is tied with “Dynamite” as the group’s longest-running song at No. 1 on this chart.

“Butter” also remained at the top of the Global Excl. U.S. chart (also for the third week in a row),and placed second on the Global 200 chart.
